Medicine Hat Soccer Association

The Medicine Hat Soccer Association (MHSA) has been in existence since 1971 and has grown into an organization with over 1800 boys and girls playing Outdoor Soccer and over 600 playing Indoor Soccer. In addition to the Minor Soccer Program, the MHSA has over 300 men and women playing in local competitive and recreational leagues.

The MEDICINE HAT SOCCER ASSOCIATION is seeking volunteers to fill the following Board positions:

Crusaders Director
Field Director
Minor Director
Sponsorship Director

MHSA Board Member Reimbursement Policy

MHSA Board Members will now be reimbursed their child(ren)’s League/Program Registration Fees based on the following:

After one (1) year of service, and upon satisfactory completion of the portfolio responsibilities, a director will be reimbursed a maximum of $300.00 for a maximum of one (1) MHSA registered child.

After two (2) consecutive years of service, and upon satisfactory completion of the portfolio responsibilities, a director will be reimbursed a maximum of $600.00 for a maximum of two (2) MHSA registered children.

After three (3), or more, consecutive years of service, and upon satisfactory completion of the portfolio responsibilities, a director will be reimbursed a maximum of $900.00 for a maximum of three (3) MHSA registered children.

Those board members without children do not receive any compensation for their volunteer service. Board Members must pay their child(ren)’s registration fees, and only receive their rebate after the AGM following their year of service. Current Board Members are grandfathered based on Terms of Service to date. The MHSA Executive Committee will assume responsibility for reviewing Director’s performance.
